Have any of you tried Five-Spice Powder in your recipes? How much, and how did it turn out?

Have any of you tried Five-Spice Powder in your recipes? How much, and how did it turn out? it’s a blend with the five common ingredients being Szechuan pepper, fennel seed, cinnamon, star anise, and clove. I have tried them all, but not specifically as a blend. I still use Star Anise and Clove in my own recipes.

I've made and used it, but never got much out of it. But as my cooking techniques have changed, so might the results. I guess I'll have to "circle back". LOL
