From my research current options are The Fagor Classic series, the Magefesa Star series or Alcoa Wear-Ever Chicken Bucket (no longer in production).
Given the well documented chicken frying instructions for the Wear-Ever Chicken bucket, I would go for the same size (4 qt/l or 6 qt/l) if buying a Fagor of Magefesa. However, these models are made up to about 14 qt.
