Also noticed in that video that the Fryer next to the one he used is sitting on 307 degrees F. The manuals say when not in use the fryer will sit at 250F or so. They heat up fast so it shouldn't just stay on 307 for more than a second or 2 unless maybe it's ready for the chicken to be dropped.

Of course, all of these times and temperatures are inconsistent with the temperatures that were used in the pressure pots, back during the era when many believe that KFC was using more "real" H&S vs. extracts.
