Since she gets a mention several times and has been recently linked to a recovered "Donahue" episode, by deepfried101, I thought I'd put her recipe here for archival and access purposes. Personally, I think she's, "Baking Mad." Be that as it may, here's her recipe. " Big Bucket in the Sky Chicken" Ingredients 3 cups self raising flour 1 Tbs paprika 2 envelopes Lipton Tomato 'Cup-a-Soup' instant soup powder 2 envelopes Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing Powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 lb butter (for frying) Method Combine all ingredients, except butter, to make a seasoned flour Dredge chicken pieces in the seasoned flour and set aside Heat the butter in a skillet pan until foaming has stopped Fry the chicken to a rosy golden colour and remove from the oil The chicken coating should be soft and sticky. Alternative Wrap breaded chicken in an oven proof tray and keep in the fridge until almost ready to cook Remove breaded chicken from the fridge and allow the chicken and oven proof tray to come up to room temperature Bake in a hot oven until cooked (35-50 minutes)

Natural Flavour no one knows what the hell this is, and to make it worse, it is contextural to the product in which it is included. Here's a link to a good discussion around this mystery ingredient. Natural Flavour

ThePieMan
thank you for posting the recipe you are a great PieMan lol
the Donahue show was important and GP does say its NOT exact she used the tomato soup to create a rose color.
when she said it was NOT exact she also said that if you add other ingredient it will be the same ( CHS TOLD HER MOST OF THE RECIPE ) she was smart enough to figure out the rest BUT CHS got a cease and desist order to stop doing interviews with GP KFC was NOT happy with CHS and when he got a cease and desist order it flows down the GP as they could NOT stop her from talking to her but they had a contract with CHS which they could STOP and DID.
Remember CHS got sue by KFC 3 times and KFC lost each time CHS won the 3 Lawsuits. CHS was awarded and settled for $ 1 million dollars on each court case. HE knew what he could and could NOT DO. He was pushing the envelop when talking to GP. BUT KFC had NO reason to FIRE him even though Jack Massey want him fired HE always made sure he WALKED THE LINE but NEVER CROSSED IT. If KFC fired him he would have had them BY the short curly ON 1 MAJOR part THEY CHANGED THE SECRET RECIPE.
so back to preempted recipe
The Italian seasoning was important but McCormick's was what should have been used and she knew that but went with Goods Italian as it had 11 items. When they shot the TV show originally her supplies did NOT arrive and she had to run to a local store and GRAB what she could to make the recipe the local store did not BRAND McCormick so she USED goods Italian and used a tomato item for color.
Remember McCormick even to today is NOT in every store under McCormick NAME it uses OTHER names to bottle there items. there website list the other NAMES and the spices in those bottles are the same as the McCormick brand or other Major Labels they pack for ( when i purchased McCormick OVERSTOCK they sell it and always say its the 10% to 15% overrun from a label brand and they always mix a minimum of 10% over the order standard manufacturing practice. The Jean company's do it clothing companies do it auto parts makers do it.
GP was looking for a 1 shot answer of 11 herbs and spices in 1 bottle NOT looking for 1 package with 4 or 6 bottle in it ? MOST stores did NOT carry the outdoor spice kit was a seasonal item ? and when she released her method she was selling hundreds of thousands of her recipe books UNTIL 2020 I think that Donahue show holds a record for the LARGEST SALES of any item they allowed to be promoted on TV talk show she sold over 1 million cook books printed on 8 x 11 paper for $5.00 with shipping and handling ? I know I bought them LMAO
I will try and do a posting which I think many have seen KEN print which spices can interchange if you are out of spice CHS had a rule for spice interchange example
Mace got changed to Nutmeg BUT mace is a superior product
