The attached picture is from the museum at an angle not as common. The size of the removed label towards the back is not unlike the logo above.

With some help, finally tracked down the logo - it is from the Great Western Sugar Company, that also produced MSG.

The so called barrel itself appears to be a fiberboard drum made by safepack.
