Is there a noticeable reduction in flavor after a seasoned oil that has seen multiple trips is discarded and replaced by fresh oil?
Could accounting for this have been the intent for the 32 ounce bag?

In my experience using all fresh oil is a no-no. There is a huge reduction in taste of the chicken. I clean my oil before using it and top up if needed with fresh.

Mike But if you had to do it, would zinging to 32 ounce bag compliance or equivalence (from a base of 26 ounce bag compliance) be sufficient to offset the flavor reduction?

Yes. And as asked way back somewhere, how often does KFC change their oil? Do they ratio it old oil to new? What % if they do?
