Buying a dehydrator

Hi guys, I am looking into buying a dehydrator, mainly to create my own herbs and spices for fried chicken. I would ask for recommendations but I find that since I live in Australia, often recommendations are redundant.
What I'd like to know for those that have experience creating their own herbs/spices is what I should look for in a dehydrator?

Air dryers are much better than those that use a hotter heat. Take my word for it. I have three dehydrators.
