Very cool. Subscribed!
I've been wanting to see a good, clear, and clean video using this pressure fryer. "We wants one, Precious!"

Got one, is easy to use set temp & time., releases pressure at end of cycle. Is 7.5psi standard, replaced weight with prestige pressure cooker weight, and has been working several years at 12 psi. Does 2-2.5kg (approx 14-16 legs)

Nitebeat changing the psi from 7.5 to 12 how does that impact the temp dial? Does it go in the red zone? Care to show us a video of you using it?

Temp dial is drop temp, prior to pressurising pot, my dial does not go into the red zone, no red zone marked on my gauge.

Not sure if there’s enough room on forum to post any as it was full and rejected the last one I wanted to post..
Warning .... modification to increase pressure not recommended as I’ve had some issues, with the lid deforming, the lid is aluminium and Can deform..... seen same on bottom of 16 quart kfc cooker I’ve got.. I’ve replaced the lid with a stainless one of a 10 Ltr Seb cooker..... (I said they almost the same) and making final adjustments. Will post some photos when I can get this working.

"I’ve had some issues, with the lid deforming"
This happened with your new 16 liter pressure fryer? How long have you had it? How many times did you use it? Do it occur after you changed it to from 7.5 psi to 12 psi? For those thinking about buying one they might want to consider this.

I Purchased mine second hand. The deformation is a direct result of my modification, the design is fine for 8 psi. I am referring to the model with a aluminium lid. Some models have a stainless steel lid which’s stronger. I’ve replaced my aluminium lid with a stainless lid. I would not recommend any modifications to pressure cookers/fryers

Thanks for updating us with details because the next stage after deforming is explosion. The reason this interest me is that one time my Mirro pressure cooker while making chicken the emergency plug opened up! I had a geyser of hot oil shooting straight up! I don't know if it was the age of the plug or temperature was to high or hot oil touched and opened the plug. But I'm sure you could imagine the fun cleanup. Anybody else with such experiences?

That’s why pressure cookers with rubber pressure relief valves are not suitable, metal spring loaded relief valves are fine.
Only thing that’s happened to me is a boil over that caught fire which ignited the oil in the pot, putting the lid back on quickly Put the fire out, I continued and cooked the batch.... was a little overdone but ok.

Mine was the original one which is metal. So, I'm not sure what happened that day. Does it have metal inside that melts like solder when it gets too hot? Or just based on pressure alone opens it? If you buy "New old stock" Mirro pressure valves the age can be a factor.
"boil over that caught fire which ignited the oil in the pot"
Wow! You reacted very quick which avoided a major disaster. Some people only use their pressure cooker outdoors for this reason.

Was using a 10 ltr ‘All Amercan’ on the electric stove, all my cook ups using the gas ring were outside, to be honest I don’t fry that way anymore, now I’ve got The chicken fryer......
